I can't believe it is already July 6th! Where does the time go? I haven't updated in a while because life has been crazy...but as you can see we are enjoying the summer! We have been swimming, boating, and enjoying the sun. We went on a cruise in March and it was wonderful! We traveled to Nassau and Freeport. If you want to see some pictures, check out Mia's website.
Westin had an emergency appendectomy in April. Unfortunately, he had some complications and is really just now back to normal. Poor guy really had a rough time, but he dealt with it as well as could be expected. Westin took driver's ed. this summer and finished the class portion with an A. Unfortunately, he could not do the driving part due to a change in the state's law regarding that a student must be 15 and 6 months. He will be completing the driving portion during the school year. He is currently doing weights and conditioning to get ready for the football season.
Lexi has had a great spring and summer so far. She played spring soccer and her team won the championship. She has decided to not cheer competitively in the fall and play soccer instead. However, she is continuing with her tumbling and her skills are continuing to improve. She will be showing Skyler (her mini lop rabbit) in the fair next week. This will be her first time competing in 4-H, she is excited and a little nervous.
Mia continues to grow and thrive! She is currently in a cheer class (tumbling) once a week and loves it. Her verbal skills are amazing and we have a little talker on our hands.
I have been busy running kids around and trying to keep up with the house and laundry. I am still working in a wow position. I was accepted to the FNP program starting in the fall. I am not really sure how I will fit it in, but I am hoping to find a way.
There really isn't any news about Nathan. He is keeping busy with work and the kids activities!
Hope all of you are doing good and enjoying the summer as well. The only thing that gets me through these harsh midwest winters are thoughts of summer. I really enjoy having the extra time with the kids and feeling the sun on my face.
